- Device information such as OS version and app build to diagnose issues.
- Usage analytics via PostHog to understand feature usage and improve the app.
- First-party website analytics on debtclear.app: the page visited, the referring site, and campaign tags. No cookies and no local storage are used. Visits are grouped by a one-way hash of IP address and browser that is rebuilt from a rotating salt every day and cannot be reversed to identify a person; the IP address itself is never stored.
- We do not store personal financial data on our servers. Your debt details remain local on your device.
How We Use It
We use collected information to operate, maintain, and improve DebtClear, understand aggregate usage trends, and support subscription features. We do not sell your data.
Third-Party Services
- RevenueCat manages subscriptions and billing.
- PostHog provides product analytics.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we process. Because your debt data stays on your device, you remain in control of your most sensitive information.
